Payment method and renewal

Once you have subscribed, the Subscription page has a Payment method section and a Renewal section.

Payment method

If you paid by card when you subscribed, PinkTower saves the card so each monthly payment can be charged automatically on its due date. Payment method shows the card type, the last four digits and when it expires, and whether instalments are charged automatically.

Some cards cannot be saved for later payments. If yours cannot, or you paid by bank transfer, you see No card saved, and you pay each invoice yourself before its due date. Each invoice says how to pay it; see Invoices.

Three days before a payment is due, PinkTower emails you to say it is coming, and which card will be charged.

Remove your card

  1. Open Subscription.
  2. Under Payment method, press Remove card.
  3. Press Remove card again to confirm.

Your payments will no longer be charged automatically. You will need to pay each invoice yourself before its due date.

Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each year, so nothing stops. The new year is priced for your school's size at that time.

Cancel renewal

  1. Open Subscription.
  2. Under Renewal, press Cancel renewal.
  3. Press Cancel renewal again to confirm.

Cancelling does not end the current year

Your subscription will not renew, but the current year runs to its end. Everything keeps working until then, and the remaining payments are still due. Cancelling stops the next year, not this one.

The page then says Your subscription will not renew. You can cancel renewal even while your school is read-only.

Turn renewal back on

Press Resume renewal under Renewal.

When a year ends without renewing

When a year ends with renewal cancelled and everything paid, your school's state becomes Ended and it becomes read-only. You can subscribe again at any time from the same page; see Subscribe.

A school that still owes money, or is read-only because it has not paid, does not renew automatically. Pay what is owed, then contact PinkTower to start the next year.
