Your PinkTower subscription¶
Subscription in the sidebar is what your school pays PinkTower for using the app. It is separate from Billing, which is the school fees families pay you: the money moves the other way. Only administrators can open the Subscription page.
Your free trial¶
Every school starts with a free trial when it registers. Everything works during the trial, and you do not need a card to start. The Subscription page shows the date your trial ends and how many days are left.
To keep going after the trial, subscribe before it ends. See Subscribe. If the trial ends without a subscription, your school becomes read-only until you subscribe; see Overdue and read-only.
Where your school stands¶
The top of the Subscription page shows your school's name, how many children are enrolled, and a badge with your school's state:
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Free trial | You are in your free trial. Everything works. |
| Active | You have subscribed and are up to date. The page says whether you pay monthly or yearly. |
| Payment overdue | A payment is late, but you are still within your grace period. Everything still works. |
| Read-only | You can see everything, but most changes are paused until you pay or subscribe. |
| Access suspended | PinkTower has suspended your school's access. Contact PinkTower. |
| Ended | Your subscription has finished. |
| Complimentary | Your school is not billed. |
The number of children enrolled matters: your price depends on it. Children who have graduated or left are not counted.
The banner¶
A coloured banner appears at the top of every page when there is something to act on:
- in the two weeks before your free trial ends;
- when a payment is overdue;
- when your school is read-only or suspended.
Everyone at your school sees the banner, but only administrators see its link to the Subscription page (Choose a plan, Pay now or Subscribe now), because only they can act on it.
