The school day

From the morning register to the last child going home. Teachers mark who is in, the register decides who can be collected, and parents can see both as the day goes on.

• Take attendance: mark each child present, late, absent or excused, even offline.
• Attendance reports and history: class summaries for staff, and each child's record for parents.
• Report your own absence: tell the office you are away or running late.
• Who can collect a child: guardians, extra authorised contacts and one-day codes.
• Record a pickup: release a child at the end of the day.
• Send someone else to collect: give a one-day code to whoever is doing the school run.
• Closing time and late pickups: set your closing time, and who hears when a child is still waiting.
• Pickup history and reports: who collected each child and when.
